Jose is a data scientist and machine learning engineer with over 8 years of experience analyzing complex data sets across various industries. He has earned a Master's in Applied Physics from the University of Barcelona, specializing in predictive simulations and data modeling.

Now his research is mainly focusing on oil & gas and real estate markets, he is fascinated by leveraging advanced ML techniques to uncover alpha signals and optimize quantitative trading strategies driven by alternative data.

Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring students interested in data science and keeping up with the latest machine-learning research through publications and conferences. Fluent in English and Spanish.
